SAFAC Annual General Meetings

The SAFAC Annual General Meeting is an annual event that brings together the regional anti-corruption institutions and where they do not exist, they are represented through relevant government departments that are tasked with looking into anti-corruption issues.

The SAFAC Annual General Meetings have provided a forum through which  the capacity building needs of anti-corruption institutions have been identified and addressed; strategies to support the implementation of the Protocol have been identified; discourse on corruption trends has been discussed and also; a forum  for sharing of experiences and best practice,

The SAFAC secretariat is tasked with the coordination of most of the activities of SAFAC. It is therefore imperative that this collaboration is enhanced and the activities of the anti-corruption institutions supported. This entails continuity of the annual meetings in order to meet the desired impact of having the network in place.
